• October 12 – A final draft of the Portage Township and Valley View Quarry Points of Consensus is agreed upon at Board Meeting.  Portage Township Board recommends to the Portage Township Planning Commission that the Planning Commission make an exception for Valley View Quarry’s operations in a Rural Residential zoning.

• February 3 – A motion is passed by the Portage Township Planning Commission to establish special use permit process for Valley View Quarry
